From Jennifer Tibbets: Dear friends, Thank you so much for all that you have done for Steve, Catherine and their children during this extremely difficult time. Many of you have asked what else can be done. I spoke with Catherine and asked if they could use a few meals a week and she thought that would be very helpful. This is my first time to put a ‘meal train’ together so hopefully it will be easy to use, but if you have any questions please feel free to email me at aheapoftibbetts@sio.midco.net with any questions. Also, please pass this along to anyone you might know who would want to participate. https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/dydq2z Thank you and God bless, Jennifer Tibbetts

Hey, everyone! There’s an Irish band playing at the Levitt tonight. They look pretty fun. If you’ve not yet been to a Levitt concert I highly recommend it! It’s free - and there are drinks and food trucks available, but you can also bring your own food and drinks! We’ll be there tonight, for sure. The opening act begins at 7, with Socks in the Frying Pan to follow! We’ll probably aim to get there by 6:30 so we can be up close. And actually, I think the Sioux Falls Irish dancers will be there at 6:30 tonight, performing. Blessings! Barbara

Hello, everyone! Because so many families are out of town and because of the heat, we’re going to move the Thursday volleyball/park day to Terrace Park swimming pool. We’ll get there at 3, when the daycares usually leave. I’ll stay with my kids until 5 or 5:30. Feel free to pack a picnic dinner if you want to stay all the way through family swim! If you need to contact me here’s my number: 785-608-2808. Hope to see you there! Barbara

Hello! The bank for our family’s personal accounts is merging with another bank, and I’m annoyed. 😂 Would anyone care to share who they personally bank with, and why you like it? I’m wondering if a credit union would be a good way to go? I appreciate any info! We’ll have to change and update several things because of this, basically the same amount of work as switching banks, so that’s why I’m tempted to switch, anyway. Thank you! Barbara

Hello, SMF Families! I invite you to attend a presentation of the Cathedral's new concert organ, followed by a concert to showcase the instrument. The Cathedral has been quietly fundraising for a new organ since 2019 - the main organ for the loft will be installed in 2025. This concert organ is portable and can be out in the front of the space. Robin Cote, of Juget-Sinclaire Organ builders in Montreal, will give a presentation on this newly built concert organ, as well as the major organ project still to come. Dr. Marie Rubis-Bauer, the Director of Music at the Saint Cecelia Cathedral in Omaha, will be playing the new concert organ on April 7th. The Dakota String Quartet will also be performing, as well as the Cathedral choirs and professional soloists. It is free to attend and will be very interesting! The presentation on the organ is at 6:15pm, with the concert beginning at 7pm. Refreshments will follow. Here are two short videos, one from Fr. Morgan, one from Dr. Jared Ostermann, explaining the importance of the organ, and also explaining the problems with the current organ. Jared's video is quite helpful in understanding the issues with our organ. https://www.stjosephcathedral.net/cathedral-organ-project We hope to see you next Thursday, April 7th! Thanks, and God bless! Barbara
