According to the Education Committee Charter:
"Co-op teachers and assistants, whether members of SMF or not, will agree to sign and comply with the
Teacher’s Code of Conduct supplied by Saint Margaret’s Fellowship Board."
Instructors must read through the Instructor Code of Conduct
and sign below to show they understand and accept the terms.
As a teacher in Saint Margaret’s Fellowship Co-op, I agree to support the mission of Saint Margaret’s Fellowship. I will uphold and support the magisterium and teachings of the Catholic Church. I will not teach anything in conflict with the Church and her teachings. I will supply my class with the literature/textbook information in a syllabus prior to each
semester, and will work to share new or potentially controversial information to parents before presenting
it to the class, should that become pertinent to class teaching. I will complete the required background
check (completed every 6 years) and safe environment training (completed annually after July 1) prior to
the start of co-op.
Saint Margaret’s Fellowship Mission Statement:
“The mission of the Corporation is to support the efforts and protect the rights of
those providing home education to children according to the magisterial teachings
of the Catholic faith (herein “the Mission”). In carrying out this purpose, the
Corporation shall work as a servant, not taking upon itself any authority rightfully
belonging to parents or to the Church.”
Thank you for submitting your agreement with the SMF Instructor Code of Conduct!
